Privacy policy
Cannabis use is sensitive. We designed this site so that we hold as little about you as possible.

The short version
- • We do not require an account and we do not ask for your name.
- • Your symptom answers and free-text notes are processed to build your recommendation and are not written to any database.
- • Nothing about your health is ever sent to analytics.
- • Location is used to run one search and is not stored.
- • Analytics do not load at all unless you accept them.
- • We do not sell personal information.
Who we are
Dr. Cannabis is operated by AI Venture Holdings LLC, a Utah limited liability company. For any privacy request, contact privacy@drcannabis.ai.
What we collect
Guidance answers
When you use the guidance tool you send us a condition, a severity rating, your experience level, timing preference, intoxication preference, and optionally a short note. This is transmitted to our server, used to build your recommendation, and discarded. It is not written to a database and not associated with any identifier.
If AI narrative generation is enabled, this same information is sent to Anthropic’s API to produce the explanatory text. It is sent without any identifier. Anthropic’s handling is governed by their own terms.
Location
If you enter a ZIP code or grant browser location access, those coordinates are used to run the dispensary search for that request only. They are not stored and not logged alongside anything else.
Server logs
Our hosting provider records standard request logs including IP address, user agent, and path. We use a truncated IP-derived key transiently for rate limiting. Our application logs record event names, timings, and coarse outcomes; they redact anything resembling a credential, and they do not record your free-text notes.

Analytics
We use Google Analytics 4 with Google Consent Mode. Consent defaults to denied and the analytics script does not load until you accept. IP anonymisation is enabled.
Conversion events carry an event name and nothing else — no condition slug, no symptom text, no dose. It is not possible to learn from our analytics what any individual visitor asked about.
Who we share with
- • Vercel — hosting and request logs.
- • Supabase — stores the public dispensary register. No visitor data.
- • Anthropic — receives guidance answers to generate explanatory text, without any identifier, when that feature is enabled.
- • Google Analytics — only with your consent, and never health information.
We do not sell or rent personal information to anyone.
Your rights
Depending on where you live you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or port your personal information, and to opt out of sale or sharing. Because we do not maintain accounts or store your guidance answers, in most cases we hold nothing about you to return or delete beyond transient server logs.
To exercise a right, or to appeal a decision, email privacy@drcannabis.ai. We respond within the period required by applicable law.
Children
This site is for adults 21 and over. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 21. If you believe a minor has provided information, contact us and we will delete it.
Changes
We will update the date at the top of this page when this policy changes. Material changes will be flagged on the site.
